Motorcyclist Killed in Crash on Cedar Ravine Road
PLACERVILLE, Calif. (Oct. 6, 2022) — A fatal Placerville motorcycle accident happened Wednesday night on Cedar Ravine Road at Woodland Drive.
The two-vehicle collision occurred about 8:27 a.m. on Oct. 5th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a car and a motorcycle collided due to unknown circumstances.
Motorcycle Rider Killed in Placerville Crash
Sadly, the motorcyclist suffered major injuries and died at the scene. The identity, age and gender of the person who died is unknown at this time, pending notification of his or her family.
Additionally, the CHP report does not mention any other injuries.
Investigators are working the the case and will determine liability for the fatal Placerville motorcycle accident. Witnesses to the crash may contact the CHP..
