Pedestrian Killed in Crash on Highway 101
PRUNEDALE, Calif. (July 16, 2021) — A fatal Prunedale car accident happened Friday morning on Highway 101 at Prunedale South Road.
The collision happened about 5:32 a.m. on July 16th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP reports that three motorists collided this morning including a Honda and a white 2015 Toyota Scion. One of the vehicles struck and killed a pedestrian in the roadway, but there are no further details.
Paramedics responded to the scene to help the injured, but sadly the pedestrian suffered fatal injuries in the Prunedale car accident. At least one other person suffered minor injuries in the Prunedale crash. The identity of the person who died will be released after next of kin is notified.
Investigators seek to determine liability for the deadly crash.
