Motorcyclist Killed in Crash with SUV at Main and Dye in Ramona
RAMONA, Calif. (Nov. 13, 2024) — A fatal Ramona motorcycle versus SUV traffic accident happened Wednesday on Main Street or State Route 67 at Dye Road.
The two-vehicle accident occurred around 12:55 p.m. on Nov. 13th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported a white Range Rover and a black motorcycle were involved, but it’s unknown what caused the collision.
Cal Fire San Diego sent paramedics to the scene where they confirmed one person dead. The victim’s name, gender, and age were not released.
Caltrans closed down the northbound lanes of SR-67 and traffic was diverted onto Dye Road due to the traffic investigation.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the motorcycle accident on state Route 67.
