Fatal Rancho Cucamonga Pedestrian Accident on Foothill Boulevard

SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY, Calif. (Jan. 8, 2026) — A pedestrian was killed Monday evening after being struck by a vehicle at a busy intersection on Foothill Boulevard in Rancho Cucamonga, authorities said.
The collision was reported at approximately 6:13 p.m. on January 5, 2025, at the intersection of West Foothill Boulevard and Lion Street, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department. Deputies and emergency personnel responded to the scene, where the pedestrian was pronounced dead.
The identity of the victim has not been released pending positive identification and notification of next of kin.
No additional details regarding the circumstances of the crash, the vehicle involved, or potential contributing factors were immediately available. The incident remains under investigation.
