Deadly Crash on San Timoteo Canyon Road in Redlands
REDLANDS, Calif. (May 17, 2022) — A fatal Redlands car accident happened Tuesday afternoon on San Timoteo Canyon Road.
The drivers of two or three vehicles collided about 1:32 p.m. on May 17th, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The caller told 911 operators that a silver Toyota Camry and two other vehicles were involved. Cal Fire Riverside Fire Department sent paramedics to the accident scene where they located the silver sedan blocking traffic lanes on San Timoteo Canyon Road. The vehicle had major damage to the driver’s side and the driver did not appear to be moving.
At least one person suffered major injuries and died at the scene. There are no further details about the person. Also, a second person suffered minor injuries in the crash. Paramedics transported the person to Riverside University Medical Center in Moreno Valley.
At least two lanes of the roadway were blocked by vehicles.
Police were on scene to piece together evidence and witness statements.
