Woman Killed in Car Crash in Redondo Beach
REDONDO BEACH, Calif. (Dec. 1, 2021) – A fatal Redondo Beach crash early Wednesday morning happened when a driver in a white Tesla crashed into a light pole and the vehicle caught on fire.
The deadly crash took place about 2:10 a.m. amid heavy fog in the area at Palos Verdes Boulevard and Catalina Avenue, according to Redondo Beach police.
A second woman riding in the vehicle reportedly suffered minor injuries. Paramedics responded and treated the injured woman on scene and the other woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner did not release the name of the woman killed in the collision.
