FAWNSKIN, California (July 3, 2016) — A fatal rollover crash took place early Sunday morning near Shore Drive at the Juniper Point Picnic Area overlooking Big Bear Lake, a California Highway Patrol report said.
The fatal crash was reported about 6:)7 a.m. this morning. The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department responded to the scene with firefighters and the coroner after at least one person was confirmed dead at the scene.
The forest service was attempting to recover the vehicle which ended up on a pedestrian passage at the scene.
The report does not provide details about how the collision happened, the number of motorists involved or how many people were hurt.
