Two-Vehicle Car Accident on Marine Avenue at Lemoli Avenue
EL CAMINO VILLAGE, Calif. (Oct. 7, 2022) — A fatal rollover crash happened Friday morning on Marine Avenue and Lemoli Avenue in El Camino Village.
The collision occurred about 5:20 a.m. on Oct. 7th, in the Alondra Park area of Los Angeles County, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
One of the two vehicles overturned during the collision between a small black vehicle and a gray vehicle. One of the vehicles struck a traffic signal and knocked it over. The traffic signal fell into the roadway and was blocking the street. It’s unknown at this time what led up to the collision.
Meanwhile, paramedics with the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to help those hurt in the crash, but sadly one person died at the scene. Also, they called the Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner to the scene. The CHP report did not mention the victim’s gender, age or identity, pending notification of relatives.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed the damaged vehicles from the roadway.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault.
