Solo Vehicle Rollover Kills Driver on I-215 Off-Ramp in San Bernardino

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (Dec. 29, 2025) — A driver was killed Monday morning in San Bernardino when a vehicle rolled multiple times on the southbound Interstate 215 Freeway at the Orange Show Road off-ramp, authorities said.

The crash was reported on Dec. 29th shortly before 8 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol. Initial reports indicated a gray vehicle rolled at least six times before coming to rest down an embankment.

Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and confirmed the driver was pronounced dead at approximately 8:20 a.m. The vehicle was occupied by a single person, and no other vehicles were involved, CHP officials said.

Due to the severity of the crash, authorities requested an airship to assist in the response and conducted a search for possible ejection. Investigators later confirmed the occupant was found at the scene.

The San Bernardino County Coroner was notified and responded to the location. Tow crews were called to recover the vehicle from the embankment.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
