Deadly Collision on Base Line Road, West of Roseville
ELVERTA, Calif. (June 17, 2024) — A two-vehicle crash on Base Line Road happened Monday in Elverta, just west of Roseville in Sacramento County.
The collision occurred in front of 8800 Base Line Road at around 12:54 p.m. on June 17th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a red Nissan Rogue SUV and a white SUV were involved and one of them overturned in the collision. There was also debris scattered across the roadway.
Paramedics from Cal Fire Placer County responded to the scene and a helicopter landed nearby to help at least one person with major injuries. and confirmed one person died, but it’s unknown if others were injured in the crash.
Finally, investigators are working to determine fault for the crash on Base Line Road.
