Rosamond Boulevard Crash at Florin and Excelsior Roads
ROSAMOND, Calif. (Dec. 21, 2020) — A fatal Rosamond Boulevard crash was reported Monday morning at 25th Street West.
The fatal crash was reported at 7:15 a.m. at the Rosamond intersection, according to the California Highway Patrol.
It’s unknown what led to the two vehicles colliding at this time. The driver in a silver Honda Civic also crashed into a pole. Firefighters had to extricate the occupant or occupants of the vehicle who were trapped inside. Meanwhile, the other vehicle involved was a black Ford F-150 pickup truck.

Paramedics arrived at the crash site to help anyone who was hurt. Sadly one person died in the crash. It’s unknown if anyone was transported to a hospital.
The Kern County Sheriff Coroner responded to the crash scene. Both vehicles required tow trucks to remove them from the intersection. The Honda had major damage and the pickup had major front-end damage.
Finally, the cause of the fatal Rosamond Boulevard crash and liability is under investigation. Witnesses are urged to contact authorities.
