SUV, Car Collide at Sacramento Intersection
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (Oct. 7, 2024) — A fatal crash involving a suspected DUI driver happened Monday morning at Franklin Boulevard and Sunmeadow Drive in Sacramento.
According to the Sacramento Police Department the collision occurred at 12:45 a.m on Oct. 7th, 2024 between a sedan and SUV, according to Fox 40 News.
Paramedics responded and located the driver of the sedan with major injuries, but unfortunately, the person died at the scene.
Meanwhile, the driver from the SUV was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
While at the hospital, police say they saw “objective signs of intoxication,” from the motorist.
The collision remains under investigation.
