Car Crashes into Center Divider on Highway 50 in Sacramento
SACRAMENTO, California (April 21, 2021) — A fatal Sacramento crash on Highway 50 near 16th Street happened Wednesday morning.
Additionally, the crash took place about 5:39 a.m. on April 21st, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A driver in a black Audi reportedly crashed into the center divider of the eastbound State Route Highway 50 in Sacramento, the report said. Furthermore, the impact caused the “entire front end” of the vehicle to separate from the body of the car, the CHP reports.

Meanwhile, at least one person in the vehicle died in the crash, but it’s unknown if others were injured. The person’s age and gender was not released and their identity will be made public after relatives are notified.
Police issued a SigAlert for the left lane due to the solo-vehicle collision.
Investigators seek to determine what led up to the Sacramento crash on Highway 50.
