Pedestrian Struck, Killed at Florin Road and Stockton Boulevard
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (August 17, 2022) — A fatal pedestrian accident at Florin Road and Stockton Boulevard happened Wednesday morning in Sacramento.
The deadly crash occurred about 8:23 a.m. on August 17th, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
A driver in a black Ford Mustang reportedly hit the pedestrian near the Krispy Kreme donut shop on Florin Road, close to where the old Sears department store used to be, police said.
The Sacramento Fire Department responded, but the person suffered major injuries and died at the scene. The Sacramento County Sheriff Coroner responded and will determine the cause of death.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the Sacramento pedestrian accident.
