Pedestrian Hit by Pickup Truck at Sacramento Intersection
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (Nov. 22, 2022) — A fatal pedestrian accident happened early Tuesday morning at Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and 43rd Avenue in Sacramento.
The collision occurred about 6:28 a.m. on Nov. 22nd, just south of Rainbow Mini Park, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials report the driver of a gray Toyota Tacoma pickup truck hit the person in the northbound lanes. Paramedics responded, but sadly the person suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
Meanwhile, a tow truck came to remove the pickup truck for evidence.
Investigators are piecing together what happened to determine fault for the fatal pedestrian accident.
