Pedestrian Struck, Killed Outside of Arden Fair Mall
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (June 11, 2024) — A fatal Sacramento pedestrian accident happened late Monday at Arden Way at Heritage Lane.
It happened outside of the Arden Fair shopping center around 11:24 P.M. on June 10th, the California Highway Patrol said.
The Sacramento Police Department and CHP sent deputies to the crash scene. Unfortunately, despite efforts by paramedics on scene, the victim succumbed to their injuries. The gender, age and identity of the person was not released.
Meanwhile, the driver involved stopped and cooperated with authorities. The intersection does appear to have a crosswalk for pedestrians at the crash scene.
Also, police closed down the intersection from Challenge Way and Point West Way after locating a person with fatal injuries.
Finally, detectives are working to determine fault for the pedestrian accident on Arden Way in Sacramento. Witnesses may reach out to the Sacramento Police Department at (916) 808-5471.
