Man Struck, Killed on I-215 Freeway in San Bernardino
SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (August 23, 2021) — A fatal San Bernardino pedestrian accident happened Friday night on the Interstate 215 Freeway.
The crash happened about 10:16 p.m. on August 20th near the 27th Street on ramp, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner.
Also, the California Highway Patrol responded to the traffic accident in the southbound lanes of the Interstate 215 Freeway.
Additionally, the male pedestrian suffered major injuries in the crash and was pronounced dead on scene at 10:30 p.m., police said.
The California Highway Patrol is heading up an investigation into liability for the San Bernardino pedestrian accident.
Meanwhile, witnesses may contact the CHP to share what they saw.
