SAN BERNARDINO, California (May 5, 2015) — At least one person was killed Tuesday morning in a rollover crash involving two drivers on the northbound Interstate 215 Freeway, just south of the Interstate 15 Freeway, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
About 7:49 a.m., CHP officers responded to a collision between a red Honda and a black Toyota Camry sedan which overturned and struck a light tower, the report said. The Toyota rolled over and landed on its wheels, but its top was crushed. Paramedics responded, but at least one person in the Toyota died at the scene.
The California Highway Patrol issued a SigAlert and they are heading up an investigation into the crash to determine liability.
“My condolences go out to the family of this person as they learn of this terrible accident,” said Attorney James Johnson.
