Motorcyclist Killed in Crash with Semi-Truck at Enrico Fermi Drive
SAN DIEGO, Calif. (Sept. 30, 2024) — A fatal crash involving a motorcycle and semi-truck happened early Monday at Otay Mesa Road and Enrico Fermi Drive in San Diego.
The two-vehicle collision occurred on Otay Mesa Road at 4:45 a.m. on Sept. 30th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The circumstances leading up to the accident are unknown at this time. CHP officials reported the motorcyclist suffered major injuries and died following the crash.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed the damaged vehicles from the scene and the truck will be held for evidence, the report said.
Investigators are working to determine who is at fault for the San Diego motorcycle crash.
