
Man, 24, Struck, Killed on 94 Freeway
SAN DIEGO, Calif. (August 10, 2023) — A 24-year-old man died in a San Diego pedestrian accident last Thursday on State Route 94, just east of the 22nd Street overcrossing.
A driver in a Cadillac struck the victim walking in the eastbound lanes of SR-94 about 10:18 p.m. on Thursday, August 3rd, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Paramedics San Diego Fire Department and Falck personnel responded to help those hurt in the crash, but unfortunately the young homeless man died at 10:27 p.m. the same night.
The 50-year-old San Diego man driving the Cadillac stopped and cooperated with authorities.
Meanwhile, investigators with the California Highway Patrol are working on the case to determine fault.
Finally, the San Diego Medical Examiner will identify the man who died after his relatives are notified.
