Deadly Crash on Highway 101 On Ramp
SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (August 25, 2023) — A fatal pedestrian accident happened today in San Francisco at the Bayshore Boulevard on ramp to northbound Highway 101.
The collision occurred around 6:11 a.m. on Firday, August 25th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A driver in a white Dodge Dakota reportedly struck the pedestrian in the on ramp lane due to unknown circumstances.
The person suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. The victim’s age, gender and identity were not released, pending notification of their next of kin.
Meanwhile, the collision was blocking the on ramp and prompted a SigAlert.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the pedestrian accident on Bayshore Boulevard.
