Deadly Crash on Interstate 280 Freeway in San Francisco
SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (Nov. 15, 2021) — A fatal San Francisco pedestrian accident on the southbound Interstate 280 Freeway near the Eastmoor Avenue off ramp.
A driver reportedly struck the victim about 11:01 p.m. on Nov. 14th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The driver struck the unidentified victim due to unknown circumstances. The body wound up in the No. 1 lane, just north of State Route 1, police said. Police have not mentioned the age, gender or identity of the person who died in the crash. A driver in a sedan pulled over to the right shoulder of the freeway.

Authorities issued a SigAlert due to all lanes being blocked by the pedestrian accident on the 280 Freeway.
Investigators seek to determine fault for the deadly collision.
