Man Struck, Killed in Willow Glen Area of San Jose
SAN JOSE, Calif. (Sept. 25, 2023) — A fatal San Jose pedestrian accident happened Monday morning at Willow Street and Meridian Avenue.
The deadly crash occurred around 6:20 a.m. on Sept. 25th, according to CBS News. It was the second fatal pedestrian accident in less than a week. (Read More)
A driver struck the man in the roadway in the city’s Willow Glen neighborhood, the report said.
The San Jose Police Department sent officers and paramedics to the scene and located the injured man in the roadway.
They transported the injured man to a hospital, but he later died from his injuries. His name and age were not released.
The pedestrian death is the city’s 22nd this year and it’s the 37th fatal traffic collision so far in 2023.
