Deadly Crash in Hayward at Masten Ave and 6th Street
SAN MARTIN, Calif. (Dec. 3, 2021) – A fatal San Martin crash today at Masten Avenue and 6th Street between three motorists.
The collision involved a gray Toyota, a black sedan and a third vehicle that were blocking the road leading to Rucker Elementary School, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP dispatch reported the crash at 6:34 a.m. on Dec. 3rd.

Meanwhile, there is no further information about the the identity or gender of the fatally injured person.
Additionally, authorities closed down Masten Avenue between Monterey Road and Highway 101 due to the investigation. School bus drivers were advised they could drop off students at Rucker Elementary, but they would not be able to exit at 6th Street due to the closure. Manna Way at Masten Avenue is also closed.
Meanwhile, investigators seek to determine what circumstances led up to the collision and will confirm liability for the San Martin crash on Masten Avenue.
