Man Killed in Car Accident in Santa Ana
SANTA ANA, Calif. (August 21, 2023) – A fatal pedestrian accident happened Sunday morning in Santa Ana on West First Street.
The deadly crash occurred at around 5:10 a.m. at 900 W. First Street in Santa Ana, according to the Santa Ana Police Department.
The eastbound motorist struck the pedestrian as he was crossing First Street due to unknown circumstances. The man went down in traffic lanes and suffered major injuries.
The driver of the vehicle stopped and someone called 911 for help.
Paramedics rushed the pedestrian to a hospital, but unfortunately he later died from his injuries.
Authorities do not believe alcohol was a factor in the Santa Ana pedestrian accident, police said.
