Pedestrian Killed On-Ramp to Interstate 10 Freeway in Santa Monica
SANTA MONICA, Calif. (May 4, 2021) – A fatal Santa Monica pedestrian accident happened Sunday on the Interstate 10 Freeway.
A vehicle struck a woman as she walked down an on-ramp to the Santa Monica (10) Freeway.
Also, the fatal crash happened about 10:33 p.m. on Sunday, May 2nd at the Cloverfield Boulevard on-ramp, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Sadly, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

According to the Santa Monica Police Department, the female pedestrian appeared to be stumbling and disoriented prior to the collision as she walked along the 2100 block of Delaware Avenue.
She reportedly wandered down the on-ramp until a vehicle struck her.
Meanwhile, authorities did not release her age or identity pending notification of relatives.
Finally, the CHP issued a SigAlert at 10:55 p.m. and closed the on-ramp.
