Man Hit by Car on PCH in Santa Monica
SANTA MONICA, California (August 23, 2017) — A car struck and killed a pedestrian early Wednesday morning in the 1100 block of Pacific Coast Highway, according to the Santa Monica Police Department.
The fatal crash was reported in the northbound lanes about 5:10 a.m. this morning. The victim died of his injuries at the scene of the collision. The driver who struck the man, stopped and was questioned by police, however, no arrests were made.
The Santa Monica Police Department is heading up the investigation into the crash to determine liability and the victim’s name will be released upon notification of his next of kin.

Police have questioned the driver who was involved in this pedestrian accident in an effort to determine cause and liability.
