Suspected DUI Driver Kills Young Man on Scooter in University Park Area
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Dec. 3, 2021) – A man riding a scooter on a sidewalk died in a car crash at Adams Boulevard and Flower Street in the University Park area of Los Angeles.
The deadly collision left the man in his mid-20s dead about 5 a.m., the Los Angeles Police Department reported. The victim’s identity will be released by the Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner.
Deadly Scooter Accident in Los Angeles
Paramedics with the Los Angeles Fire Department responded and pronounced the man dead at the scene, the LAFD reported.
Meanwhile, police officers detained the motorist involved. The driver is suspected of driving while impaired, police said.
The LAPD continues to investigate the deadly scooter crash on Adams Boulevard.
