Two Semi-Trucks Crash at Freeway Interchange in Diamond Bar
DIAMOND BAR, Calif. (Feb. 21, 2025) – A tragic semi-truck accident near the interchange of the Pomona (60) and Orange (57) Freeways has left one person dead and another injured.
The traffic accident occurred around 4:11 a.m. on Feb. 20th, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
CHP officers responded to a connector road between the 60 and 57 Freeways. Upon arrival, authorities discovered two overturned semi-trucks.
According to the CHP report, Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics pronounced one person dead at the scene, while another victim was transported to a nearby hospital for undisclosed injuries. Their condition remains unknown at this time.
As a result of the crash, the CHP issued a SigAlert and closed down three lanes on the connector road between the eastbound 60 and northbound 57 Freeways.
Finally, investigators are working to determine the cause of the collision and liability.
