Pedestrian Struck, Killed on Sears Point Road (State Route Highway 37)
SOLANO COUNTY, Calif. (Sept. 16, 2021) — A fatal Solano County pedestrian accident happened early Thursday on Sears Point Road also known as State Route Highway 37.
The collision happened about 4:03 a.m. on Sept. 16th near Skaggs Island Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A driver in a red Nissan Versa struck the victim in the roadway due to unknown circumstances, the report said.

Sadly, the person suffered major injuries and died at the scene.
Police issued a SigAlert and closed down the eastbound lanes at State Route 121. Meanwhile, the CHP redirected traffic to alternate routes.
