SUV Hits Pedestrian at Stanton Intersection
STANTON, Calif. (August 7, 2023) – A fatal pedestrian accident happened Friday night at Beach Boulevard and Katella Avenue in Stanton.
A driver in a white GMC Yukon SUV reportedly struck the person around 11:52 p.m. on Friday, August 4th, according to County News Service.
Paramedics responded and found the person in the roadway suffering from major injuries. However, despite efforts by fires responders, the pedestrian was pronounced dead on the scene. The person’s name, gender and age were not released.
Meanwhile, the driver of the Yukon stopped and cooperated with police and the investigation.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the fatal pedestrian accident on Beach Boulevard in Stanton.
