Man Riding Bicycle Killed in Car Accident on State Route 4
STOCKTON, Calif. (Nov. 27, 2023) — A fatal bicycle accident happened Sunday on Highway 4, just west of Wilson Way in Stockton.
The deadly crash occurred at around 5:32 p.m. on Nov. 26th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported a driver in a gray van struck the victim in the No. 3 lane due to unknown circumstances. The driver pulled over and stopped to call for help.
Paramedics from the Stockton Fire Department responded, but there unable to save the man who died at the scene.
The Stockton Police Department requested a SigAlert due to the crash and investigation.
Police are working on the case to determine fault for the fatal Stockton bicycle accident on Highway 4.
