Woman Killed Stockton Pedestrian Accident
STOCKTON, Calif. (April 19, 2021) — A fatal Stockton pedestrian accident happened Sunday at Kettleman Lane and Curry Avenue.
The collision happened about 8:30 p.m. on April 18th, according to the California Highway Patrol. The woman suffered severe injuries and died at the crash scene near Sunset Nursery.
Fatal Stockton Pedestrian Accident
The San Joaquin County Sheriff Coroner responded to the scene where a female pedestrian was lying in the eastbound lanes of the roadway. Also, a blue sedan stopped after the collision on the eastbound side of Kettleman Lane. The two-lane roadway does not have a pedestrian crossing or sidewalks in the location of the fatal crash. There is a stop sign where Curry Avenue meets Kettleman Lane, but not for drivers traveling on Kettleman Lane.
Meanwhile, the California Highway Patrol investigation is ongoing.
