Pedestrian on Skateboard Killed in Hit-and-Run in Tarzana
TARZANA, Calif. (Sept. 14, 2021) – A fatal Tarzana hit-and-run pedestrian accident happened early Tuesday morning at Tampa Avenue and Oxnard Street.
Now police are searching for a hit-and-run motorist who struck and killed the female pedestrian riding a skateboard in Tarzana.
Additionally, the fatal Tarzana hit-and-run collision happened about 12:30 a.m. on Sept. 14th, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Sadly, the person died at the intersection where the collision took place. The Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner will release her identity after notifying relatives.
The Los Angeles Police Department did not provide the fatal Tarzana hit-and-run victim’s age or identity at this time.
However, authorities are looking for a silver 2013-2018 Toyota Avalon that reportedly fled without stopping to help the person, the LAPD said.
Meanwhile, the woman who died was not in a crosswalk, police said. Additionally, witnesses or anyone with information about the collision, may call 877-LAPD-247.
