Temecula Rollover Crash on I-15 Freeway
TEMECULA, Calif. (Oct. 16, 2020) — A Temecula rollover crash on Friday morning left one person dead and others with injuries in on Interstate 15 Freeway in the Temecula area.
The collision was reported at 7:15 a.m. on Oct. 16th near the border of San Diego and Riverside counties.
Additionally, police stated the vehicle overturned onto its roof in the fast lane of the northbound side of the freeway, just north of Rainbow Valley Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Meanwhile, paramedics with the North County Fire Department sent crews to the Temecula crash scene where they found multiple patients. Sadly, one person had already died upon their arrival to the freeway crash site. Unfortunately, the CHP report did not state how many people were hurt in the crash.
Finally, the cause of the crash remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol. It’s unknown at this time if other motorists were involved, nor what led to the collision.
The CHP incident number is 00116.
