Man Struck, Killed in Hit-and-run Crash on PCH
TORRANCE, Calif. (May 11, 2022) — A fatal Torrance hit-and-run pedestrian crash happened early Wednesday morning at Pacific Coast Highway and Calle Mayor.
The deadly collision occurred about 1:30 a.m. on May 11th, according to the Torrance Police Department.
The male victim suffered major injuries and died at the scene.

The suspect fled the scene, but police later located the person and arrested him.
Meanwhile, the Torrance Police Department did not immediately release the suspect’s name. It’s unknown at this time what led up to the collision or if drugs and or alcohol were factors.
Finally, the identity of the person who died will be released after notification of his relatives.
