2-Vehicle Car Accident in Tracy on Grant Line Road
TRACY, Calif. (Sept. 28, 2023) — A fatal crash happened Thursday morning at Grant Line Road between G Street and Berry Road in Tracy.
The deadly, two-vehicle crash occurred at about 6 a.m. on Sept. 28th, according to the California Highway Patrol and Fox 40 News. One of the vehicles became fully engulfed in flames after the collision.
A bystander stopped and called 911 while her boyfriend went to help the victims exit their vehicle, the report said. The Stockton fire department, paramedics and police responded to the scene.
Authorities closed down Grant Line Road for more than an hour to conduct an investigation into what happened. It reopened at 7:20 a.m. in both directions.
The San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office sent the coroner to the scene, but the name or names of those who died were not released at this time.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the crash on Grant Line Road.
