Multi-Vehicle Crash in Tracy on 205 Freeway
TRACY, Calif.(December 2, 2021) – A tow truck rear-ended a blue car Thursday in a crash on the Interstate 205 Freeway at Mountain House Parkway.
A total of four vehicles were involved in the deadly 1:45 p.m. crash on Dec. 2nd on the westbound side of the freeway.
The California Highway Patrol reported the collision between the tow truck, a blue sedan and two other vehicles. One person became trapped in the wreckage and firefighters responded to extricate them from the vehicle.
Paramedics responded to the scene, but sadly at least one person died in the crash, according to the California Highway Patrol report.
Investigators with the CHP did not mention if drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash.
The case remains under investigation and police will determine fault for the Tracy crash on the 205 Freeway.
