At Least 1 Killed, 1 Hurt after Big Rig and Vehicle Collide
DOYLE, California (August 1, 2016) – A deadly traffic collision occurred on Highway 395 Monday evening, according to California Highway Patrol dispatch team.
CHP first logged the accident when a big rig and a passenger vehicle collided at approximately 6:05 p.m. The crash took place south of Red Rock Road.
As per the incident log, paramedics responded to the scene and confirmed that at least one person was killed in the wreck. The name of the deceased has not been yet released pending notification of family.
The dispatch also included that a driver involved sustained minor injuries upon impact.
Meanwhile, a third vehicle was mentioned in the report, however it was unknown if it was involved in the fatal collision.
The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
