 Fatal Tulare Crash Highway 99, Tulare Street; Semi-Truck Versus Car 2 Killed in Highway 99 Crash at Tulare Street

TULARE, Calif. (Sept. 10, 2021) — A fatal Tulare crash on Highway 99 between a semi-truck and a car left two people dead Thursday night in Tulare.

The fiery crash happened just before 8:30 p.m. in the northbound lanes of Highway 99 in Tulare, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officers say a the drivers of a car and a semi-truck collided in a fiery crash near Tulare Street.

Two people died in the crash as it caught on fire following the collision.

Meanwhile, the semi-truck driver did not report any injuries at the scene of the fatal Tulare crash.

Additionally, CHP officers are working the case to determine fault for the collision.

Authorities closed down one northbound lane on Highway 99 due to the fatal Tulare crash investigation.
