Man Struck, Killed at Tulare Intersection
TULARE, Calif. (Sept. 5, 2023) — A fatal Tulare pedestrian accident happened Tuesday morning at West Inyo Avenue and Gemini Street.
The deadly crash occurred just before 7 a.m. on Sept. 5th in Tulare.
The driver struck the unidentified man as he was reportedly crossing the street at an unmarked intersection in a residential area, ABC 30 News reports. The motorist pulled over and stopped after the collision.
Paramedics responded to the scene, but unfortunately the victim died after the crash.
The victim’s age and identity were not released, pending notification of his next of kin.
It’s unknown if there will be any charges filed against the motorist at this time.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault, but they do not suspect drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash.
