Pedestrian Struck, Killed on PCH Near Solimar Beach
VENTURA COUNTY, Calif. (August 10, 2022) — Mary Centeno, 68, of Ventura, died in a pedestrian accident Wednesday morning on Pacific Coast Highway 1 near Solimar Beach.
The deadly crash occurred about 9:22 a.m. on August 10th, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
A driver in a black Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck reported struck the victim due to unknown circumstances.
The driver in the dually pickup stopped and pulled to the right shoulder.
Meanwhile, the Ventura County Fire Department responded to help the injured person. However, they were unable to save the woman’s life due to severe injuries. Mary Centeno died at the scene of the Ventura pedestrian accident.
Additionally, investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the fatal Ventura pedestrian accident.
