Man Struck, Killed on W. Century Boulevard
SOUTH LOS ANGELES, Calif. (March 24, 2023) — A hit-and-run driver struck and killed a pedestrian Thursday night on West Century Boulevard in the Vermont Vista area.
The deadly pedestrian accident occurred around 9 p.m. on March 23rd, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
A man believed to be around 50 years old was struck in the 600 block of West Century Boulevard and the motorist involved failed to stop, MyNewsLA reports.
Meanwhile, the man was pronounced dead at the scene. The Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner will release his name after notifying his relatives.
Investigators are working on the case and are searching for the suspect who fled.
