2-Vehicle Collision on SR-132 at McCracken Road
VERNALIS, Calif. (Oct. 7, 2022) — A fatal Vernalis crash on State Route Highway 132 (Maze Road) happened Thursday night near McCracken Road in San Joaquin County.
The two-vehicle collision occurred about 10:24 p.m. on Oct. 6th, just east of Orchard RV Park, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A motorist traveling northbound on McCracken Road collided with a westbound vehicle traveling on Highway 132, also known as Maze Road.
Dilpreet Thiara, 23, of Manteca, suffered a major laceration to the head, neck pain and hurt their left leg.
Also, at least one person suffered fatal injuries in the collision.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine liability.
