Bicyclist Hit by Van in Fatal Crash on US 395

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (March 12, 2025) — A man riding a bicycle died in a car accident Tuesday night on Highway 395, just north of Luna Road in Victorville.

The collision occurred around 8:56 p.m. on March 11th, according to the Victorville Fire Department. The cyclist was struck by a northbound van traveling on US 395.

Paramedics and the Victorville Police Department responded and located the victim’s severely damaged bicycle and his body covered up beside it, according to a report by Victor Valley News Group.

Emergency responders pronounced the cyclist dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, the driver of the involved silver 1996 Honda Odyssey stopped and engaged their flashing emergency lights. The vehicle had major front-end damage as well as the windshield was smashed.

The San Bernardino County Sheriffs Department is handling the investigation.
