VICTORVILLE, Calif. (August 4, 2021) — A woman died in a fatal Victorville crash Highway 395 crash happened early Wednesday between Luna Rd and Dos Palmas Road.

The deadly crash happened about 6:07 a.m. on August 4th, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner.

The multi-vehicle head-on crash involved a a white work pickup truck and a silver 2011 Toyota Camry sedan, according to a live report by Victor Valley News.

Debris was scattered all over the roadway and both vehicles suffered major front-end damage in the Highway 395 collision, the report said. The a wheel fell off the white pickup truck.

Firefighters used the Jaws of Life to extricate the woman from the damaged Toyota following the crash. They called for a helicopter to transport them to a hospital, but were unable to stabilize her so an ambulance took her to Victor Valley Global Medical Center. Sadly, she later died at the hospital about 7:19 p.m. following the Highway 395 crash. The car wound up on the right shoulder of the highway.

Two ambulances transported at least two others from the pickup truck to the hospital.

Investigators seek to determine liability for the fatal Highway 395 crash. Meanwhile, authorities will release the victim’s name after relatives are notified.
