VICTORVILLE, Calif. (August 21, 2023) — A fatal multi-vehicle crash in Victorville happened Sunday on the southbound Interstate 15 Freeway at the Stoddard Wells Road off ramp.
The collision resulted in a seven-vehicle pile-up around 3:31 p.m. on August 20th, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch report.
Two of the vehicles were involved in the fatality collision. The San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner has not released the victim’s name.
The drivers involved included a green Porsche and a Toyota Corolla sedan, the report said.
It’s unknown what set off the collision at this time.
Paramedics responded and at least one person died on scene. Meanwhile, investigators are piecing together what happened to determine fault.
Tow trucks removed the Porsche and the Toyota from the roadway.
