Man Struck by Vehicle at Visalia Intersection
VISALIA, Calif. (Nov. 20, 2023) – A fatal Visalia pedestrian accident left one man dead Thursday night at Avenue 320 and Road 132.
The deadly crash occurred at around 5:40 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 16th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A 42-year-old Visalia man driving a Land Rover eastbound on Avenue 320 struck the victim in the eastbound lanes, just west of Road 132 due to unknown circumstances.
CHP officers responded to the scene of the traffic crash, according to a report Your Central Valley News.
The pedestrian sustained major injuries and died following the collision.
There were no injuries reported by the driver and his passengers.
Liability for the fatality crash will be determined by investigators, however, alcohol and/or drugs do not appear to be a contributing factors.
