Man Struck, Killed at Visalia Intersection
VISALIA, Calif. (Dec. 19, 2023) — A fatal pedestrian accident happened Monday night at Dinuba Boulevard and Prospect Avenue in Visalia.
A driver struck a man in the roadway at around 8 p.m. on Dec. 18th, according to ABC 30 News.
Authorities investigating the collision determined a driver struck the victim as he walked into the roadway.
The driver stopped and cooperated with the traffic investigation, explaining that it happened so fast they were unable to stop or avoid hitting the man.
Paramedics responded and rushed the injured man by ambulance to Kaweah Health Medical Center, but unfortunately he later died at the hospital.
Investigators do not suspect alcohol and or drugs were a factor in the collision.
