Driver Hits Pedestrian in Walnut Creek
WALNUT CREEK, Calif. (Dec. 13, 2024) — A fatal Walnut Creek pedestrian accident happened Friday morning on Ygnacio Valley Road, just east of Oak Grove Road.
The collision occurred at around 6:25 a.m. on Dec. 13th, according to East Bay Times.
A driver traveling westbound on Ygnacio Valley Road struck the victim due to unknown circumstances, just east of Oak Grove Road, officials said.
The motorist called 911 to report the crash, but the person died at the scene.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault and no arrests were made.
